The invitation

There are places that stay with you.

Not just as memories, but as something woven into who you've become. Goa is that place for me. For fifteen years, it was home. A place of teaching, learning, building, and sharing. A place where Brahmani Yoga took root and began to grow into the community it is today. So much has moved through that time — students, trainings, friendships, transformation. And now, after years of evolution, there is a call to return.

Not to revisit what was, but to meet it again with new eyes.

Back to Source is an invitation into that space. A return to the body. A return to movement as a way of understanding. A return to the deeper intelligence that sits beneath effort and habit.

Through daily meditation, journaling, asana, and movement exploration, alongside Dharma talks and embodied dance, we unravel the layers of resistance held in the body and mind — in the beautiful setting of Ashiyana Retreat Centre, Goa, India.

The sights and sounds of India come alive around us and within us. Whether you’re returning or new to Goa, we gather to explore, release the unwanted, plant seeds for the desired, and learn to just BE who we are — authentically.

With time and space, clarity begins to emerge. Movement becomes more fluid. The mind becomes quieter. And something within starts to reorganise itself — naturally.

There is something powerful in coming together in this way. You’ll reconnect with others who are on the path — perhaps meeting old friends, but certainly finding new ones. A shared experience that deepens not only your personal journey, but your sense of connection and belonging.

What We'll Explore

Morning

Morning practice & meditation

Each morning opens with meditation and journaling, moving into asana and movement exploration — practices that soften the body and settle the mind before the day begins.

EVENING

Embodied dance & Dharma talks

Each early evening we gather for embodied dance, restorative practices, Dharma talks, and other surprises — sessions designed to dissolve what the day held and deepen what matters.

NOURISHMENT

Ashiyana Dining Experience

Two meals a day from Ashiyana's celebrated kitchen — a post-yoga brunch and evening dinner. Locally sourced, beautifully prepared. Masala chai, ginger lemon and herbal teas available throughout the day.

AFTERNOONS

Free time in Goa

Afternoons are yours. Play on the beach, wander the local environs, or simply rest in the gorgeous setting of Ashiyana. There is also a full programme on offer at the centre each day that all participants may join.

This is not about becoming someone new.
It is about remembering what has always been there.
