Nieke Franken (1984) got introduced to yoga at the age of 22, after completing an instructor course from Les Mills to teach BodyBalance. Nieke had been teaching several gym related classes and dance classes since the age of 18 but after an accident in Australia, where her spine got dis-located at 4 places and her tailbone was fractured, she focused on rehabilitating through Yoga. This has been a magical experience and her interest in healing through Yoga grew tremendously. Nieke offers Vinyasa classes with beautiful transitions, creative sequences and buoyant movements with a dance like feel; keeping the body fluid, light, healthy, strong, flexible and most of all, injury free! She also offers therapeutic yoga and gentle Hatha yoga, where the focus lies on correct alignment and healing through (restorative) poses. Also suitable for pregnant woman or moms after birth. Nieke offers kids programs for the little yogis as well.
