Yoga Teacher Training: India & Worldwide

Julie Martin - Yoga Teacher Training, India

Brahmani Yoga has gained an international reputation for excellence in yoga teacher training since 2004.  All our programmes go beyond the minimum requirements that Yoga Alliance set as we believe training should be fully comprehensive.

We offer Level 1, Level 2 and soon Level 3 yoga teacher training courses that are staffed by senior teachers and always have a small group of participants to ensure individual attention.  Our aim is to provide excellence in training and guidance.

The Brahmani Yoga philosophy is about ensuring great quality in training. We don’t want students to graduate just being “OK” teachers, we encourage practitioners to excel and dive deeper into their understanding - not only of their yoga practice but what it really means to share this journey with others.

The path of a yoga teacher is more challenging than it appears from the outside and we guide students with care, offering tools for growth in all areas of yoga. We give a great deal of attention to communication skills, practical work in real classroom environments and plenty of opportunity and space to explore and enquire throughout the process.

'Encouraging ease and efficiency in movement for yoga practice and everyday life'

The basis of Gary Carter’s Myofascial Anatomy and movement for Yoga teachers short courses and workshops is to create a deeper knowledge of our structural interelationships and balances. How we connect up in movements, to understand this through the felt sense and our relationship and balance to gravity. Vanda Scaravelli had mentioned ‘going with the body and not against it’. Here we gain a deep knowledge of what this really means.
