The Brahmani Yoga Centre offers up to 5 classes daily (mon-sat) in Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, Hatha (Scaravelli based), Pranayama & Meditation, Restorative Yoga as well as running teacher training programmes.

We are located on the grounds of the Hotel Bougainvillea (Sometimes called "Grandpa's Inn) in Anjuna, Goa, India. See travel page for directions. Once you are in India you can contact us by phone at: 93 7056 8639 (add +91 outside of India)

Our aim is to provide a high standard of teaching in a facility that is friendly and non-competitive. We believe that all forms of yoga are equally important and that all yoga should be accessible to everyone regardless of experience, ability or age.


Package Deals

Although we do not have our own accommodation for yoga students, These Package deals are ideal for people who are not familiar with India...We do offer package deals of accommodation at local guest houses, unlimited yoga and airport transfers. These Package deals are ideal for people who are not familiar with India or who do not want the hassle of booking accommodation and arranging airport transfers, and who want to do as much yoga as they can while they are in Goa.

Teachers

All teachers at the Drop-In Centre are widely and deeply experienced, and you can trust them to take you safely through your practice. Julie Martin and Melanie Cooper will be the senior resident teachers for the Ashtanga/Mysore and Vinyasa flow classes, joined by Rachel Hull from January. Ashley Bond, Joanne Tchortov, Anna Smallwood and Jaya Jaks will be teaching beginners and improvers levels and we are joined by Nathan Gray, Mark Mulligan and Adrianne Klump as assistants.

Hatha teachers this season will include Helen Noakes (Nov-Feb) and Liz Warrington (Mar). Emil Wendel will be returning to continue teaching his outstanding Meditation and Pranayama classes, in December and January only. (Julie Martin and Melanie Cooper will be teaching this class November, February and March.

Training Oportunities

We have two Yoga Alliance Registered courses for next season. Once again we are running the Ashtanga Vinyasa programme with Julie Martin (Nov-Dec) and are excited to add a new two month programme based on Vinyasa Flow and Ayurveda led by Rachel Hull of Shakti Spirit (Feb-Mar). Also the Chavutti Thirumal training with Helen Noakes will be run one each month in January, February and March.
